Scented Candles

How can I avoid tunneling?

Tunneling is the term used to describe when wax near the centre of a candle burns deeper than the edges. To prevent tunneling, all you need to do is burn your candle long enough each time so that the entire top surface of wax is melted. This is especially important the first time you burn your candle.

Make sure to never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, and let it cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.

Do I need to trim my wick?

You should get into the habit of trimming your candle wick before each use. In general, you should trim candle wicks to about 1/4 inch before lighting them. Doing this before each use helps ensure that your candles burn safely and brightly.

To trim candle wicks, carefully cut each wick with a pair of small scissors or a wick trimmer. For best results and for safety purposes, trim wicks when they’re at room temperature. If you forgot to trim the wick before burning your candle, let it cool down prior to cutting it.

- Never leave a burning candle unattended.

- Keep away from things that can catch fire.

- Keep away from children and pets.

- Use a heat resistant candleholder.

- Keep the wax pool clear of matches and debris.

- Trim the wick to 5mm prior to lighting.

- Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time.

- Container will be hot when the candle is lit.

- Allow to cool prior to re-lighting.

Wax Melts

How do I use wax melts?

Place as many pieces as suitable onto your burner, if using a tealight burner, light an unscented tea light beneath or alternatively use an electric burner.

How do I change wax melts in my burner?

Heat the leftover wax for under a minute, then with a tissue or wipe gently remove the remaining wax; be aware, the wax will be hot.

Warning: The wax melt burner becomes very hot during use, do not touch or move whilst alight or whilst the wax remains hot. Extinguish the tea light if the flame becomes enlarged, makes contact with the burner of begins to smoke (If using a tea-light burner).

- Always use your burner on a heat resistant surface.

- Keep away from things that can catch fire.

- Keep away from children and pets.

- Only use a good quality unscented tea light with a 1-2 hour burn time.
(If using a tea-light burner)

- Burner will be hot when the wax melt(s) are lit.

- Use a protective plate or tray.

Diffusers

How does a reed diffuser work?

Remove the metal screw cap and plug, then screw the decorative metal cap back onto the bottle. Immerse your reeds into the liquid and allow them to soak up the oil. Once they have absorbed some of the oil, flip them to begin the release of the fragrance.

You’ll need to flip your reeds regularly, we suggest every few days, to keep the scent fresh and fragrant.

Keep in mind that the more your flip, the quicker the oil will evaporate.

What do the reeds do?

The reeds soak up the oil and diffuse the scent. The reeds are porous which helps control the rate the fragrance is released.

If you want to lessen the fragrance, remove a reed or two.

- Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds. Do not ingest.

- Keep out of reach of children and pets.

- People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be
cautious when using this product.

- Use gloves when handling used reeds.

- Do not place diffuser directly onto polished, painted,
plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillages
may cause damage to certain materials.
